Not sure if this has been discussed before, or if it is even possible, but will Bear fully integrate the new “Genmoji” feature?
Context
I use emojis to easily categorize certain projects & tasks. When I try to add a new “Genmoji” (from the new iOS updates) to a note, Bear treats the “Genmoji” as an image/pfd rather than an emoji.
Please +1 for this. I add emojis to every article title… Bear has Genmoji in the UI but doesn’t support it it seems - so it falls back to inline image rather than emoji sizing.
Thing is, “genmoji” are images. They’re not emoji, no matter what Apple wants to call them. They have to be embedded as images so that they can be synchronized. Perhaps there’s some polish that Bear devs can add in terms of interacting with them, but genmoji will never act exactly like emoji.
