How do I merge unintentional duplicate notes?

Hi, I just use Bear for basic note taking because I like it more than the basic apple notes app. I say this to explain that I’m not very knowledgeable about coding etc. I noticed a while ago that the notes werent’ syncing accross my apple devices and some of them have doubled up and have that red splitting off symbol. How can I merge the two versions?

Here you can find more information about note conflicts and how to solve them:

Hello @trix180

Whan this happens to me, I always wonder where the conflicting note(s) were last edited – on my iPad? on my Mac? or on my iPhone??? And I’m often working offline with several of my devices…

Without this information it’s very difficult to figure out how/where to resolve the conflict; which version to delete or keep.

So, I have two requests:

  1. Please inlude the name of the two devices where edits were made, next to last modified time (on the two conflicting notes)
  2. Also, this info would be very helpful to have on the Statistics Panel

So, probably Device Name (MyMac-1, MyiPhone11, etc) would be preferable to Device Type (iPhone, Mac, iPad), in case you have more than one Mac or iPhone (I have 2 iPhones in use)

What do you think? Does this make sense? or is it just me
