How to find and clear multiple copies of the same note

After various backups/restores and making a complete mess of the new workspace feature, I find I have lots of duplicate notes. I can only see them if I recognise a title and CMD +O. Is there a way to find duplicates more easily and delete them? Otherwise, I see days of frustrating work ahead! I saw a similar post but the answer involves Claude and I have no understanding of or interest in AI

Hey, I’ve just released an updated version of my CLI companion for Bear, now called BearKit that also helps you do this.

You would just have to run bearkit duplicates in the terminal and this will create a new file in Bear that lists all of your duplicated notes.

Let me know if you have questions!

Many thanks for this. ranx. It looks a bit technical for me but I’m not unused to the cli so I’ll give it a try. :slightly_smiling_face:
