I just went back to bear last week, How do I get rid of the Wonderful New Note. I thought it was supposed to be distracted free note taking.
It’s just a placeholder text to signal an empty note. Write something and the placeholder text will disappear. Or maybe don’t have empty notes. You’re actually distracting yourself there, mate.

To find all empty notes for deletion just go to “Notes” in sidebar and search for them by writing “@empty” in the search field of the notes list
