Implement security settings with macOS to enable functioning of URL link to local macOS folders and files

Following release of macOS Sequoia, URL links to files (i.e. “file://…”) and folders embedded in Bear notes don’t work anymore - see URL links to files/folders (file://...) are not "clickable" anymore

It would be great if Bear app would be evolving in order to be able to integrate to security settings of macOS that would let the user grant access to Bear to local files and folders, so that it could be possible to use URL links to files and folders in any Bear notes.

Would definitely be very useful to have this at some point so I can link to external resources easier rather than include inline. Similar to how apple notes, obsidian, and logseq gain permission to access the folders the files reside in (document, home folder etc when clicked)

After multiple tests, this could be a bug from the NSTextView. This feature request could be closed in a near future.

After further tests, the bug from which this feature request was originated - - see URL links to files/folders (file://…) are not “clickable” anymore - has workarounds.

And it seems to be a “bug correction” more than a “feature” to implement.

Consequently, this topics may be closed from my perspective.
