In Watch OS 26, can Bear sync all notes like Apple Notes? include locked notes?

In this upgrade,
Apple has included support for Apple Notes on the Apple Watch.
I experienced that a large number of notes in Apple Notes can now sync to the Watch,
and locked notes can be opened on the Watch by entering a password,
adding an extra layer of protection.

Regarding these updates,
I’m wondering if Bear will support similar features,
or if future updates will bring Bear closer to Apple Notes in functionality.
These are features I would really like to see,
and they are important for me to continue using Bear.

Well we have bear on watch for a long time now. The only thing that is missing is the option to see and open locked notes.

For me personally it’s not a big deal, because I don’t have any locked notes.

We are open to considering having all notes on the Apple Watch if more people request this feature, but I can tell you locked notes will not be available on the Watch app for security reasons.

I have 9,500 notes in Bear. How would that affect my Apple Watch? I personally can’t imagine having even a sliver of that on my watch. I could, however, see a specific tag being used to feed to the watch.

I think Apple allows this for a reason.
The use case is,
for example, as the performance of the WATCH improves (including storage capacity),
you can imagine your WATCH as a small external hard drive.
You can carry all your notes with you on your WATCH, even locked content.

Sometimes, I write down some frequently used passwords in my notes so I can access them without having to open my phone.
The lock feature provides an additional layer of protection.

In addition, even if you go out and forgot to bring your phone or have your phone stolen on the street problem, you can still access all your notes via WATCH.

Another use case is maintaining focus.
With Bear on your WATCH (I mean with all notes), you can keep your project/task list open without opening your phone, which can be distracting.
