What were you doing: Copied a line of text and tried to paste it in the next line.
What feature did you use: Copy/paste
What happened: Paste adds an extra line break.
What did you expect to happen: To paste without a line break.

can you please try to turn off “Smart Punctuation” in iOS preferences > keyboard? IIRC the above was caused by iOS itself.
Got it. Doesn’t make a lot of sense, but glad to be able to deactivate it. Thanks.
I agree and what’s worst is we have zero control over that. I’ll keep a note to file a report to Apple.
