This template is for bug report only:
- Lettera Version: 1.0.0 (4458)
- macOS Version: 27.0.1 (26A434)
- What were you doing: Tried to edit locked file.
- What feature did you use: Clicked on Lock icon in Lettera’s rename file pane at top of editor.
- What happened:
- After editing file and moving to another file in side bar, Lettera froze completely and had to be force quited.
- But if trying to save or close file (Cmd+S, Cmd+W or Cmd+Q), we get two different warnings that file is locked: (“Save anyway” removed the lock and saved the file.)
- What did you expect to happen:
- Expect Lettera editor to switch to read only state when opening locked files or when locking them with editor open – just like Bear does when you set Read Only on notes.
- Or at least not freeze, but get the same autosave warning when switching to another file.
