I’m having an issue where certain tags are not showing any notes in their list, including the main Notes list. In the main Notes list, the option to Hide Subtag Notes is greyed out. In other tag lists, the Hide Subtag Notes is available for selection, and I’ve toggled it on/off, to no avail. In the lists where notes do show up, toggling this option works.
Advice?
“Notes” is not a tag but a section where all your notes are always shown. Therefore in that context the “Hide subtags” doesn’t make sense at all and is hidden
@krssno Please read my post again. I’m seeing zero notes in my main Notes list. Where are they? Further, in certain tags, I’m not seeing any of the notes that should be in them. And then in other tags, I do see the notes that should be in them.
Essentially:
I’ve been using Bear since 2016, so I’m 99% certain this is not user error but a bug. It’s worth mentioning that this is on a brand new computer that I set up from a Time Machine backup. I see all my notes in their proper places on my phone and iPad.
Hello, we had some reports of corrupted databases after a restore from a Time Machine backup. The good news is that we’re able to fix the database file, please get in touch the the support and we’ll get it sorted.
