Presentation Mode built into Bear

I’d like to request a built-in Presentation Mode in Bear — something minimal and elegant, similar to the one that used to exist in Dropbox Paper.

The idea is to let users present a note in fullscreen, divided into sections or slides using simple separators like —, with no visible toolbars or editing interface. Ideally, it would also support a choice between light or dark mode for better readability in different contexts.

While I currently use Deckset for this purpose — which works well and supports advanced themes — the workflow requires exporting the note from Bear, opening Deckset, selecting a theme, and preparing the presentation manually. It works, but it’s not seamless.

A simple “Present” button in Bear would make this process instant and far more integrated, especially for those of us who use Bear on iPad or during meetings. Even a lightweight implementation would be a huge productivity boost.

Some features that could be part of this:

  • Fullscreen, clean view of the note
  • Markdown — as slide/page break
  • Tap or arrow navigation
  • Toggle for dark/light background

This wouldn’t need to compete with professional slide tools — just a fast, focused way to present Bear notes without leaving the app.

Thanks for considering it!

Greg

Try shiny frogs panda editor. You will have the same editor like in bear. But the experience should be more seamless because panda works with markdown files from the disc

How get Panda on iOS ? And does it have an embedded presentation mode ?
