🚀 Bear 2.3.11: Read-only mode and new themes

Bear 2.3.11 is here with new features, fixes, and a little extra polish.

:open_book: Read-Only Mode

Sometimes, you just want to read your notes without accidentally editing them. With Read-Only Mode, you can scroll through your thoughts and ideas effortlessly—perfect for focused reading or quiet reflection.

To enable it, open the ⫶ menu and select “Make Read-Only”. You’ll see a read-only icon appear in the top-right corner. When you’re ready to make changes again, just click or tap the icon and select “Make Editable.”

:art: 4 New Themes

Introducing Shibuya Jazz, Shibuya Lo-fi, Everforest Light, and Everforest Dark. Shibuya Jazz and Lo-fi are two similar themes as Dieci with absolute black #000000 background, perfectly designed for AMOLED screens. The Everforest light and Everforest dark are based on the Vim theme Everforest made by Sainnhe, bringing you a warm and soft tone with mild contrast. Check out more themes here: Bear’s themes
