I change themes often and would prefer not to scroll and find them since the list is growing. A good example is the new Everforest themes. I go back and forth between light and dark throughout the day. I don’t use any auto light adjustment settings on the Mac or apps for light and dark mode because I don’t always agree with the changes.
In Bear settings, I would love to do one of the options below or something similar if there are other ideas.
- Drag Handle: Toggle from thumbnail view to list view to rearrange the order of themes with a drag handle. I still like the thumbnails because it shows a theme sample. Well done! Another reason for the toggle is once I get used to a theme, I don’t need to see the thumbnail anymore. I know I want it, so a list would be fine at this point.
- Side Note: Any chance the Settings menu window can be longer since Themes and App Icons make it scrollable?
- Pin Themes: Pin the theme, so they go to the top of the list
- Favorites: Favorite the theme to only show favorites
I love how Bear handles themes! Keep up the great work! I love how I can click once to jump into an entirely different mood for writing.
