Hello, unfortunately I have the exact opposite problem : “search notes” command worked within Bear 2.3.6 (one caveat though : I had to assign a limit to the number of results). When I installed Bear 2.3.7 via TestFlight, it broke completely : I keep getting an error message (“can’t communicate with the app”), even when I assign a limit to the number of results. Maybe there is a problem with my syntax ?
Thanks a lot for your help ! Unfortunately I get the same results with or without the second #. Maybe it has something to do with installing a beta version (TestFlight, 2.3.7) on top of a regular one (2.3.6). Maybe I should try to uninstall the regular one first ?
By the way, as a total beginner with Shortcuts, I completely agree with you regarding error logs. And thanks for your amazing work on Daily Notes, I stole a bunch of ideas from you
Good idea on installing the TestFlight version fresh but I did what you did by installing it over the official one (ie. did not uninstall official one first).
Does seem strange. If my memory is correct, I believe a few minor versions ago there was a similar issue with the search in Shortcuts, but they fixed it and then it cropped back up in 2.3.6.
Hello ! I have exactly 2849 notes.
I am experiencing this issue on iOS and iPadOS. I haven’t tried to install the Beta on MacOS, but I’ll check as soon as I can.
Thanks for your help, anyway !
