The title says it all really. Keyboard shortcuts that Bear uses to show side bars are taken by MacOs to show desktops. Can the Bear shortcuts be customised? As far as I can tell, the Apple shortcuts for showing desktops can’t be changed.
I use multiple desktops and never ran into this problem.
That said, you can customize Bear Menu item shortcuts via macOS settings. All Bear editor view states are accessible through the menu bar, so you should be able to do this easily.
Nice one, thanks JVG, I’d forgotten that MacOS lets you change an apps shortcuts - so all sorted now.
FYI on my mac (Sequoia 15.5) Desktops are swapped by control/1, 2, 3, etc, same as the Bear commands for viewing side panels.
You’re right, looks like I have those disabled in system settings. Probably because of clashing with other shortcuts.
