Spellchecker / Autocorrect

I’m not sure if you have a public bug & features list so adding this and will be adding others as I come across them.

I noticed that there appears to be no spellchecker when typing. Usually the word will have a red underline as I’m sure you are aware or with the later MacOS releases they will autocorrect the word. I noticed Bear doesn’t support it either so I’ll revisit the Bear feedback for responses unless you’re planning on doing something different here.

Hi Tom,

both the Spellchecker and Autocorrect are working by default both in Lettera and Bear. My guess is that you have those turned off, you can check inside the “Edit” menu if you have those enabled:

hmm, never had to think about it before. I just checked and “check spelling while typing” was not enabled; so, I’ll see how that goes. I did have “Correct Spelling Automatically” checked but it was not working; so, I’ll let you know if it still persists.
