In Linear, there is a very cool function called “Copy title as link”. It copy link in markdown format with the title of the ticket. It is very useful if bear also support this. Existing copy link (⌘⌥⇧L) only copy the link while it takes extra step to copy the title of the note each time.
With supporting this function, it will be very easy copy title as link and link in the other application supporting markdown.
…it’s far from ideal. This particular Open x-callback-url action always brings the Shortcuts app to front when run, which is highly disruptive. I’m not aware of a means to prevent that.
Problem can be solved if Bear adds a new Shortcut action to Get current note or Get identifier of current note or Get selected notes that can run in the background. That particular action is offered by many well-regarded apps, including News Explorer which I use every day.
I’m surprised that some commenters in those threads thought the x-callback-url approach was sufficient. Had they actually tried the suggested shortcuts themselves?
Nope, this doesn’t work on Mac. The Bear “Title” attribute returns an empty string. Bear devs, please consider adding a Copy Note Link as Markdown command. It’s essential in a markdown world. Frankly there seems to be some cruft in there (Copy Identifier? Customize app icon colour?) that could be replaced with better core functionality. I say this partly because even though I like the app the Pro version now charges an annual fee that is more in line with other apps that have a more active dev cycle.
