I am often taking notes from Bear into other projects where the markdown files serve as the content for a website. They begin with frontmatter, which offers the ability to add meta info to the file.
It would be super powerful if Bear could accept custom meta for each note, hide it during the editing process, but include it as frontmatter when exported.
You can sort of fake it today, but the formatting gets a little goofy. Here is an example:
