I know people like to request specific new tagcons, but I was thinking - why don’t the Bear devs just use SF Symbols? It’s a really comprehensive library of nice looking symbol glyphs in all sorts of categories that look totally at home in iOS and macOS and are already used by a bunch of different apps.

Huge +1. Or allowing emoji. Both of these are huge libraries that are already built-out and update regularly.

Without considerig the design boundaries tagcons have, SFSymbols exist only in the Apple ecosystem. If we adopt them we can’t use them on other contexts such as the web

Emoji would be super useful — people commonly use the same emoji across file system/task manager/notes app to distinguish areas or projects. And emoji are available everywhere, too!
