Tapping from view to edit on iOS scroll randomly to a wrong position

Sometimes when tapping to edit on notes randomly scrolls to a different place which is completely unexpected and unpleasant. It seems to be happening chiefly on more complex notes.

Attaching a video showing an example. The first tap works as expected. In the following two taps, the editing cursor ends up where my fingers pointed, but the story also happens to scroll randomly just before the edit cursor appears.
