xShortcuts: Add to Specified Section in a Note

Hi - I have a pile of shortcuts that make my note-taking life better. I would love to have a shortcut that allows me to add text to a specified section in a note.

My use case is that I have scripts that run at various times and I would like data appended to a certain section in an already existing note.

If I’m not mistaken, the limited to header parameter of add text should do what you are looking for.

Oh wow, thanks! I’ll try it out.

Well, not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but shortcuts gives me “An Unknown Error Occurred”. when trying to do it. I am using MacOS Sequoia beta, so it could be an issue there.

New request - I need to be able to attach an image under a specified header

2024-07-02 : Daily Note is a note object returned by Get Note?

Tying up loose ends here - “2024-07-02 : Daily Note” wasn’t an object returned by Get Note – I clicked in the field and searched for it. Using Get Note fixed the issue.
