I find the contrast of some of the colors of the new Notes (light) theme poor, for example the markdown syntax for bold is barely visible to my eyes here:

I’m finding the same. Also link color has very poor contrast as well.
The Dark Notes theme is much better in this regard except the checked checkboxes have very low contrast.
I’m pretty sure we changed Notes markers’ color with the last update. If this is not the case, this will be shipped soon.
