Bear crashes if you try to use to cut (cmd+x) the entire text of a note

  • Bear Version: 2.3 (12783)
  • OS Version: Sonoma 14.6.1
  • What were you doing:
  1. Edit a note, then
  2. Immediately press Cmd+A (Select All), then Cmd+X (Cut) before the note has a chance to save/sync.

This happens when I cut the entirety of a note that has not yet synced (ie. there is content in the note that is not yet reflected in the sidebar summary).

Hello,

I think we fixed this bug in 2.3.2.
please update by visiting Bear’s Mac App Store page and try replicating the issue.
