After removing items in the trash (some 1.300), Bear on iPhone doesn’t function anymore. It gets blocked, no scrolling possible etc.
Have you tried deleting the app and installing again? That may resolve your issue.
Please don’t do that. If you are not a Bear Pro user you can lose all your notes.
Deletion of a large number of notes might take some time, please leave Bear running on your devices until you see the notes disappear. Plug your device into a power outlet if Bear closes before ending the deletion.
We’ll add a progress dialog panel for large deleting operations with the next update.

I am a Pro user since a long time :O). Further I waited till all trash messages disappeared, so this cannot be the reason. I thought about removing and reinstalling the app on the iPhone, but hesitated… I still do…
I am still waiting for a secure answer: can a Pro user as I am remove and reinstall the iPhone app without a chance of loosing all the information stored in Bear? The app doesn’t work anymore properly well…
Can you describe exactly the problem you are experiencing after the deletion issue?
Very simple: when I start the app on the iPhone, it immediately stops functioning, I can’t scroll, search, enter a new entry or whatever. It is completely paralyzed.
Okay, please try uninstalling Bear’s app on your iPhone, reinstalling it, and letting it sync all your notes.
