Hey folks,
There is a breaking font in v2 with Greek language:

As can be seen in the attached image.
- What was the font used in Bear v1? Could I use this instead?
- Will the BearSans support greek characters?
Hey folks,

The second question (sidebar font intact) is by design I believe - you can change only text format of actual notes (in current implementation in preferences), not of UI.
The first question: original font was AvenirNext if I am not mistaken. Can you choose it in Settings? (or try some other font which might be ok?)
@daneb1 Yes I changed it, but the sidepanel will still be broken (image 2) ![]()
Is there any plan to support Greek characters to the font?
Can you please tell me more about how the font is broken?
Sure @trix180 !
Try writing Καλησπέρα which means “good evening” and you will notice the letter π is breaking visually in contrast to the other letters.
I suspect the π is being presented as a symbol NOT as the character in the greek font being used.
@chrisecurtis @trix180 the symbols that I found are not rendered as expected are:
μ π Ω
The whole alphabet I tested:
Α α, Β β, Γ γ, Δ δ, Ε ε, Ζ ζ, Η η, Θ θ, Ι ι, Κ κ, Λ λ, Μ μ, Ν ν, Ξ ξ, Ο ο, Π π, Ρ ρ, Σ σ/ς, Τ τ, Υ υ, Φ φ, Χ χ, Ψ ψ, Ω ω
Καλημέρα Καλησπέρα Καληνύχτα Ωραία
And the result can be seen here:
