- Bear Version: Web
- OS Version: Mac OS 26
- What were you doing: Trying to use Bear Web
- What feature did you use: Trying to get my notes to sync or add a note
- What happened: I am able to login, notes are not syncing (I am Pro) and when I try to add a note pop up returns to log in again!
- What did you expect to happen: Great Bear experience that I am used to.
I’m also facing the same issue. I login and then I can see the Bear Web App and when I click on anything it goes back to login screen! No error or anything. I did look in the Network Tab in CDP and see a LookUp API is failing with error code 403 Forbidden.

Hi @maninder and @michaelrcorley and thanks for the feedback. Once you’re logged in there’s no reason why the Apple cloud server should refuse you access (and return a 403 error), I hope it’s just a temporary glitch. One question, just to clarify: Advanced Data Protection (ADP) is turned off, right? Currently the use of Bear Web with ADP is not supported.
Hi bru, ADP was ON, My mistake . Thanks for your quick response. It is working now
That’s great! We’re also receiving several reports of ADP working for some users (and we have just been able to replicate it at least once with ADP + 2FA + Password, see this conversation ). ADP is definitely an evolving topic and support is improving; if it’s something you strongly feel about I would suggest to keep an eye on the forum and maybe give it another go when you feel like experimenting.
