Can't display a # symbol in a tag name, even with escaping

Testing version: v2 (10461)

What were you doing: Typing a tag which I would like to contain a hash – e.g., #Project/Programming C#/App Idea#

What feature did you use: Tags

What happened: The # after the \ disappeared in the side bar

What did you expect to happen: the # after the \ to be rendered in the sidebar tag list tree.

Yes, we don’t want to allow the # character in the tag titles by design.
