What happened:
Note turned into a blank note. I clicked on the two notes and they both turned blank. See attachment(CleanShot 2025-04-30 at 15.38.22@2x|464x500). The note above and after “Databases” note existed earlier. I see these notes on the mac app but their display format has changed in the notes. See attachment(CleanShot 2025-04-30 at 15.49.26@2x|446x390)
What did you expect to happen:
Display the contents of the clicked notes.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. That’s a surprising behaviour, we’re investigating and will keep you posted! Are the notes still available in the Mac app or did they turn blank there too?
Wait, do you mean you are also using the beta for the native app? If that’s the case, I’m glad the data is preserved, but currently Bear Web only supports the old database version.
Yes it could definitely be. I’ll be adding a more explicit message soon, to avoid misunderstandings (but support for the new database format is also due rather soon anyway).
Not really: the support for the new database format landed on BearWeb yesterday. We don’t provide access to all features yet on the web, but updating should be safe.
