What were you doing: Adding text to an existing Bear document
What feature did you use: just typing text
What happened: All the work from the today’s Bear Web session disappeared. Possibly lost internet and synced which overwrote any previous work. Work from yesterday still intact. During this time I was also editing notes on the old desktop version of Bear on my laptop (ver 2.2.2) - not sure if that’s related.
What did you expect to happen: My current work would be saved.
Hi and thank you for the feedback. I’m really sorry about your data loss, when you lose internet connectivity and there is an edit from another device, the result should be a conflict, not loss of data. We’ll try to replicate and fix the issue.
What were you doing: Adding text to an existing Bear document
What feature did you use: just typing text
What happened: while I was typing, the text added to the note suddenly disappeared. The same note was open on iOs at the same time (but not in edit mode, it was just open), so maybe it’s related. I’ve had the same problem before, but I can’t remember whether the note was open on Bear on iOs or not.
What did you expect to happen: The text was not meant to disappear.
I was reviewing my heading structure on an existing document. I tapped an arrow that folds and unfolds the content under the heading and all my content beneath it is suddenly gone and I am freaking out.
Please help!
I went looking for a previously saved version but I can’t find anything.
Hi, thank you all for the feedback, I’m extremely sorry you experienced data loss.
I have been able to find a condition to replicate this behaviour, we’re working on a fix with the highest priority. We’ll keep you posted on progress here.
