Yes, this is a know limitation of our table implementation. It’s possible to have images and files inside tables but generated numerous layout problems across the platforms, so we decided to keep this eventually for future implementations.
Ok. Actually, I can drag images into rows easily enough, although it would be nice to have something that auto-resizes to fit new additions to the row. Also to maintain constant height across the row. Notion handles this very nicely.
I know I’m bringing to live a bug from March, but it looks like dragging text breaks a table as well. Not only images. It’s a little bit of pain and unexpected… (the gif is slow, Bear with it)

Regarding the above, Tables don’t currently support internal drag’n drop, so this behaviour is expected.
