To reduce destruction while writing on bear, I usually hide the sidebar. It would be great if it gets hidden automatically like Notion.
You can use shortcut keys Control + 1 to toggle the side bar. Faster than waiting for it to automatically close too.

I already use the shortcut key, but showing/hiding it with mouse over is quicker.
