At the moment, when creating a new unsaved note, I see the title “Untitled.md” no matter what text I’ve already put in. I would love to see the title based on the text on the first line.
It is similar to what Sublime Text does.
I would use this to open several quick notes in tabs (never intending to save them), e.g., for notes on a task I am working on.
Personally, I don’t understand what you mean - Bear is database driven, it doesn’t allow access to files unless you export stuff. Is that your meaning?
Hi, my request was regarding the Panda app, but I must have misunderstood what the Panda app is. I thought it was a sibling app to the Bear app that handles the .md files or can be used for markdown quicknotes (like Sublime).
But it seems like it is just an app to test future features for the Bear app, right?
Yes, it used to be the test bed for the Bear 2 editor. A more integrated environment akin to Bear is coming. Best to see it at the moment as a great standalone MD editor.
