Folding Indicators Stuck

  • OS Version: Sequoia 17.7.7
  • What were you doing: Switching between “Show Editor Only” (Ctrl+1), “Show Notes and Editor” (Ctrl+2), and “Show Tags, Notes, and Editor” (Ctrl+3).
  • What feature did you use: N/A
  • What happened: Folding indicators got stuck and would not disappear until re-toggled.
  • What did you expect to happen: Folding indicators should disappear when mouse is not hovered above them.

When switching between the various “Show” modes (Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, Ctrl+3), if the cursor is in a position so that the cursor passes through the folding indicator hover area during the transition the folding indicators gets stuck “On” until the cursor is moved to the hover area again, resetting the folding indicator state.

I am able to consistently reproduce this issue every time.
