Footnote improving

I have to click on the * to see the info, and when I do it, it show the editing window like I would intend to keep writing on it.

Would it be posibble that the info in the * shows when hover on it or going down the footnote to see the info while clicking on it an then go back inmidiatelly to the places you where before by clicking again the * on the footnote?

I agree, current workflow is not perfect. Most of the time I don’t want to actually edit an existing foot note but just see it. Perhaps this could be done like comments functionality in other apps where clicking on the marker shows the commend and then clicking on the text, or some UI element, enters into edit mode.
