How do I clean install Bear 2 beta?

I’ve been trying to delete the iCloud data, Apple gives me an error, and then it disappeared. I look for it under manage storage settings/syspref on both iOS and MacOS, Bear is nowhere to be found.

So I clean install Bear 2 beta on MacOS. I made sure the previous iteration was deleted from the application folder after stopping from participating in Beta under TestFlight. So I install it, thinking it is a clean install, and I see my old notes appear.

Are these cached locally? Perhaps I’m just having issues/corruption with the iCloud file? I am at wits end and open to try anything at this point.

Hello,

to do a clean Bear 2 install you should in oder:

  1. Delete Bear from all your iOS devices
  2. Delete ~/Library/Group Containers/9K33E3U3T4.net.shinyfrog.bear/Application Data on macOS
  3. In macOS preferences > iCloud > Manage select Bear and click Delete All Files
