I spent some time working with a large txt file I was wrangling into an ebook last week. I found Panda so helpful. There are real advantages to file based editors. No shade on Bear. I realize there are some amazing features the library enables as well. I just want to say thanks for making such an amazing app, that was actually super useful to me, even in a beta.

Curious…what are the advantages?
Well, it allowed me to edit the file in iA Writer, then switch straight over to Panda for ePub export, all without having to use “Open in”, which is helpful when you are doing this repeatedly.
Writer has certain features that were convenient in the editing process, and Panda has great export. Being able to seamlessly switch between them was awesome.
