Incorrect text encoding while copying text from bear app to another

  • What were you doing: Paste Cyrillic text from bear app to telegram/etc
  • What feature did you use: copy/paste
  • What happened: wrong coding appear “Так что прям на почте” instead of “Так что прям на почте”
  • What did you expect to happen: Correct cyrillic text “Так что прям на почте”

Hello, I have tried to report this issue to telegram dev a couple of time, but I have not received a reply. Are you experiencing this with other apps?

VK Teams messenger. (‎App Store: VK Teams)

We found two workarounds:

  1. Use the share option to copy.
  2. Copy as plain text

iOS: 18.1
Bear: 2.3.1 (12862)

I have the same problem. But only when i copy a text from Bear. “Copy as a plain text”/”Copy as a markdown”/“Share… and copy” is working well.
