iPadOS 26 - Menu Bar doesn't show correctly

  • What were you doing: General use of Bear
  • What feature did you use: The Side Menu Bar
  • What happened: Menu Bar does not display properly - there is an Oval that displays over the menu bar, where i would expect the whole area to be dark
  • What did you expect to happen: I would expect the whole area to be a dark bar, not have an oval showing - screen shot attached

can you always replicate this issue? The sidebar shows like this only when you open the preferences?

Hi.

the issue happens all the time when the sidebar is shown. I only showed the preferences for the Bear version number.

NB - it looks worse when the iPad is in light mode -
White can be seen around the edge of the oval which is dark

Hi, an update - it now appears to be displaying correctly - i updated my iPad to iPadOS 26.1 last night and now it displays as I would expect - may a beta OS bug ?

Possibly, yes. I’m unsure because I was not able to simulate this glitch.
