I hope that Apple will provide APIs next year that will allow the Bear team to have in-app buttons, rather than having to right-click and look for the writing tools.
To the Bear team - thank you for allowing what we do have on day 1, to work!

UPDATE! I completely missed this, until this morning. When you highlight text, if you move your pointer to the left a little the Apple symbol for AI pops up. This way you don’t have to go the menu or the right-click menu. Awesome!
I’m not looking for a discussion about how useful ai can be in writing or what dangers lurk in it. But the text on the iA Writer site is worth reading. The article addresses some of the current shortcomings of the writing tools and explains how the app deals with them:
The easiest way to “stay in control” of the AI writing tools is to turn them off. Hopefully that is available as standalone OS setting toggles without losing useful functionality like transcription.
