I can live with Lettera as-is for quite a long time. My only other wish is the ability to customize the sidebar font size (and the relative folder icon to match). The sidebar’s presence looks weak.

I would like to 2nd that. My aged eyes like to see slightly larger text than normal.

I’m also in favor of giving Lettera a distinctive and appealing look. But right now, in the early stages, the priority is to lay a solid foundation. If I remember correctly one of the developers mentioned on Reddit that this is exactly what will happen first, before they get to the stuff that will make the app unique.
Not asking for a distinctive look at this stage. Simply larger font size.

I’d like to second this, too, and extend the request to Apple to make dynamic text on macOS work and work well so people can have large UI elements at native sizes
