Quick text selection that excludes bullets?

Is there any way to quickly select a bulleted line of text but not include the bullet in that selection? I often find that when copying and pasting text into my notes I want to be able to select the content of a bulleted line/paragraph and either change or replace it altogether. Triple clicking the text selects the whole line/paragraph including the bullet and then pasting in new text removes the bullet all together. Because of this I have to manual click and drag the text I want to change/replace and then paste in the new text. Obviously this is not a huge deal, but the time it takes to do really just adds up when you’re doing it regularly throughout the day.

If you are on a Mac, move your cursor to the beginning of the line after the bullet, then press: Cmd + Shift +
