Quicklook of files makes app impossible to interact with

  • Bear Version: 2.6.3 (13844)
  • OS Version: macOS 26.0.1
  • What were you doing: Wanting to preview a PDF file using quicklook. Selected an attached PDf in a note and pressed space.
  • What feature did you use: Quicklook
  • What happened: The quicklook window opened but it is not possible to scroll the on the PDF, it is not possible to close quicklook window or interact with any button. It is also not possible to do anything in Bear in the background. The Bear app doesnt seem to actually hang, but the only way I can get out of it is to close with Command + Q.
  • What did you expect to happen: The PDF should open quicklook and I should be able to scroll and close it when I am ready.

Hello,

I suspect this is an issue with macOS 26.0.1 because I can’t simulate this bug on 26.1. However, I’d like to know if this is happening for any PDF and if you have tried to reboot your Mac.
