Some PDF attachments are not displayed in iOS app

  • What were you doing: Tap on a note (containing a PDF) in the note list to open it
  • What feature did you use: Tap on a note (containing a PDF) in the note list to open it
  • What happened: The PDF file is not being displayed, only the headline of the note, then a line of text that looks like a link:
    [Document Title](pencil symbol)\<!-- {"embed" : "true", "preview" : "true"} --\>
    and then the tags
  • What did you expect to happen: PDF file would be displayed
