This is the only reason I don’t use Bear—despite being one of the best note taking app. Please add this feature as most students and technical people need this.
Hello, I’m a physicist and I write my most technical notes with equations so you don’t get lost. Please consider adding this functionality to Bear. This will help a lot those who are more technical in other areas of science.
This is a huge feature that would be so nice to have and is a real dealbreaker for those of us in the science and engineering fields. I just started a subscription without realizing Bear didn’t support LaTex equation rendering and am now debating whether I need to move back to Obsidian. I’d rather not given how beautiful this app has been to use so far…
So excited to see math support finally drop in Bear, but I’m still holding my breath for support in Panda! ![]()
Do you have any plans to provide round-trip editing functionality similar to Microsoft Word? If you provide such functionality, I can use third-party equation editors to insert formulas in Bear, such as MathCapture. https://www.mathcapture.tech/
I hope you can support this function. Because I dont familiar with LaTeX
