Search is VERY slow when files are big

  • What were you doing: searching
  • What feature did you use: search
  • What happened: it’s very slow
  • What did you expect to happen: be MUCH faster, like in Obsidian

You start typing something in the search bar, and the characters come out after some seconds of delay.

Please let me know when this is fixed.
I had to go back to Obsidian because of this.

Hello! Are you referring to the global search (which shouldn’t be slow as it’s async) or the search inside a note?

I tried it again and it happens in both places.

I will attach recordings of me typing the word “searching” fast.
