  • OS Version: iOS 26.0.1

  • What were you doing: trying to add a tag to the Shortcuts Create a note with action

  • What feature did you use: typing a tag name into the tag field

  • What happened: my characters were immediately deleted as I typed them

  • What did you expect to happen: the keyboard to allow me to enter a tag name

Thanks for reporting this issue, but I’m afraid we don’t have control over the Shortcuts App.
Hopefully, this bug is fixed in the upcoming iOS 2.6.1 release.

Is Apple already aware? If not, do you have a means for me to report the problem to them most effectively?

Thanks! I was able to add the tag in Shortcuts on macOS and sync it back to my iPhone as a workaround for now.
