Slow math rendering

The math feature on Bear is very useful to me, but unfortunately I’ve found it to be quite laggy. For example, if you paste the following text into the Bear (macOS) app, it becomes very laggy (taking a while to render + lots of stuttering while scrolling). This isn’t an issue on the web version at all.

$123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text $123$ some text

Hello,

Today’s update (2.6.4) should improve MathJax rendering for macOS 26.

This fixed my issue, even with my heaviest Mathjax notes!

For me it improved the issue, but rendering is still very slow on my longest and math-heaviest notes. Also, I subscribed and can now test this on iOS, and the iOS version of Bear doesn’t suffer from this performance issue.
