To-Do Bullet: Status Option(s)

I’m sure I’m not the first one to request something like this, but a feature I would really appreciate is an in-progress / incomplete status symbol for to-do bullets. Something simple that shows that a to-do bullet is being worked on / started but has not yet been complete. The in between of - [ ] (not complete) & - [x] (complete).

I know there is already an existing markdown format for this - [/] to show in-progress. How the UI would look… no idea (maybe a to-do box half shaded?). Either way, I would love to see this feature implemented!

I would welcome these todo options. I’ve needed to mark my todos with different status notes many times. I’m doing this in the meantime.

  • Cancel Option 1: Mark it complete and write a standard bullet note underneath
  • Cancel Option 2: Mark it complete then add strikethrough to it show I didn’t complete it
  • In Progress: I haven’t thought about this option. I would love it. For now, I’ve been picking a highlight color.
