Bear 2.7 (14168) for macOS and iOS is available via TestFlight.
Contains fixes for all the bugs reported here.
I do not seem to find the link to be able to use the testflight version. Where do I find it?
(Edit: Found it)
Very excited about this update. Are there new tagcons included as well? Will more come? I hit some places where I wanted some additional ones, I think we have a thread here somewhere that they’ve been reported by folks. I even remember your instagram story asking what new ones we’d like about 2 years ago.
I love the tagcons, but I really want a lot more variety, and please, the option to make them bigger in the side bar. My eyes aren’t what they used to be ![]()

I wanted to test how footnotes behave when tags are placed at the end of the note. I noticed that footnotes are always placed immediately after the last footnote. Did you introduce this in the very latest version? I like that behavior.
As far as I discovered bear adds now a footnote always directly under the last footnote. There is just one flaw: if you have a note with a bottom tag and no footnote at all, the new footnote will be placed under the button tag. I definitely will use top tags but this little flaw can be addressed for the sake of perfection.
I have a small suggestion for improvement. For some time now Bear has been hiding tags in the preview of the notes list. However, if the tags are written in the second line as in your example, with an introductory text, they are still displayed. It would make sense to hide the second line in the preview if it is the line for tags at the top.
