Hi Bear Team,
I’d love to suggest a feature that could be really useful for quick thoughts and temporary reminders: notes with an automatic expiry.
The idea would be the option to create a note and choose how long it stays in the system before it disappears. For example:
-
24 hours
-
48 hours
-
72 hours
After the selected time passes, the note could fade out visually and then automatically delete itself.
This would be helpful for things like quick reminders, temporary thoughts, or short-term to-dos that don’t need to live in the notes system permanently. It would also help keep the workspace clean without having to manually delete everything later.
A couple of small additions that might make it even nicer:
-
a visible countdown or expiry indicator
-
the option to convert the note into a permanent one before it expires
Thanks for building such a great app — Bear is easily one of the nicest writing environments around.
