- Bear Version: Version 3.0.1 (14853)
- OS Version: macOS Golden Gate 27.0.1 (26A434)
- What were you doing: Clicked (i) to open the info panel, then clicked the ToC-tab, then tried to click-and-drag the panel away from the note to keep it open (I’ve done this before, and of course you mention it in the FAQ: “Floating Info Panel - On the Mac, you can click and drag the Info Panel to tear it away from Bear and keep it on-screen”)
- What feature did you use: Floating info panel
- What happened: No matter where I click in the info panel (different tabs, title bar, etc) I can’t seem to drag it away from the note
- What did you expect to happen: See above.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Golden Gate changed something related to controls, and the usual trick to detach the info panel no longer works. We’ll work on a solution as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, you can detach the panel by dragging below the selectors
Thanks! (Just about the only place I hadn’t thought to click
I.
